Post traumatic migraine
Migraines can occur in migraineurs, with no genetic history of migraine and no prior migraine events, after an injury to the head or neck. The trauma can be minor, even a head injury without loss of consciousness may trigger migraines. "Whiplash" type injuries to the neck may also cause migraines in people with no history of migraines.
