Some studies have shown a correlation between people with epilepsy and migraineurs. The link showed a 52% increase in migraines among people with epilepsy (than the general population without epilepsy) and a 79% increase in epilepsy in migraineurs (than the general population without migraines).
Prescription epilepsy treatments are sometimes prescribed "off-label" as treatment for migraines.
